SADDLE BROOK, N.J., January 3, 2018 – PumpMan Holdings LLC, a Soundcore Capital Partners, LLC portfolio company, successfully completed the acquisition of the assets of Brooklyn, New York-based Federal Pump. Serving New York City's five boroughs and parts of New York State for over 90 years, Federal Pump manufactures pump systems and provides service & repair in the metro area.

Leveraging the acquired assets of the company, PumpMan Holdings aims to re-establish Federal Pump as a leading pump systems and service & repair company serving the commercial, industrial, and municipal markets in the Tri-state area.

W.C. Weil is a pump equipment and systems service provider for municipal water and waste water treatment systems.

Founded in 1978, W.C. Weil offers new equipment sales, product start-up, routine inspection, field trouble shooting and repairs, asset management, and operator training. As part of PumpMan Holdings, the company will continue to operate under the W.C. Weil brand, providing customers with exceptional service and technical support to maintain and repair expensive municipal assets.

September 19, 2016 - Soundcore Capital Partners LLC has acquired Los Angeles-based PumpMan Inc, a provider of pump system maintenance, repair and new system installation. No financial terms were disclosed. Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised Soundcore on the transaction.

NEW YORK—September 19, 2016—Soundcore Capital Partners, LLC ("Soundcore"), a control-oriented, New York-based private equity firm that invests in lower middle market businesses, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of PumpMan, Inc. (or "the Company"), a leading provider of  pump system maintenance, repair and new system installation. This is Soundcore's second platform investment and its first of 2016. Terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

Los-Angeles-based PumpMan was founded in 1976, and serves more than 2,700 customers in the municipal, commercial, industrial and residential markets across Southern California. The pump services industry is comprised of an estimated more than 3,000 "mom and pop" businesses who together account for more than $3.3 billion in annual revenue.
